Mavericks Unveil Pre-Season Schedule; Missouri to Play Two Exhibition Games in Alaska

INDEPENDENCE, MO (August 3, 2015) - The Missouri Mavericks announced their 2015 pre-season schedule on Monday morning, unveiling that the ECHL franchise will play two exhibition games in Anchorage, Alaska ahead of their season opener. The team also released the date of their annual Black-Orange Intra-squad Scrimmage and a tentative training camp schedule.

The Mavs will play a two-game exhibition series against the Alaska Aces at Sullivan Arena on Monday, Oct. 12 and Tuesday, Oct. 13 before they open their 2015-16 campaign with the Aces in three back-to-back matchups Friday, Oct. 16 through Sunday, Oct. 18. Missouri will host their annual Black-Orange Intra-Squad Scrimmage and Skills Competition at Independence Events Center on Thursday, Oct. 8. The South IEC entrance will be open to the public at 5:30p.m. for a 6:00p.m. scrimmage start. Admission to this event is free with a donation to Community Services League.

The Mavericks 2015 Training Camp will tentatively take place at the Kansas City Ice Center (KCIC) Friday, Oct. 2 through Tuesday, Oct. 6 and run Wednesday, Oct. 7 through Thursday, Oct. 8 at Independence Events Center (IEC). Fans are welcome to watch all Missouri Mavericks training camp practices. Additional camp details will be provided at a later date.

The Mavericks will play longtime rival, the Wichita Thunder, in their home-opener on Saturday, Oct. 24 at Independence Events Center. Season Tickets and Group Tickets are on sale now! Call the Missouri Mavericks at 816-252-7825 to speak with a ticket representative.
