The Story:
After claiming a 3-0 victory against the Washington Spirit, the Pride will host OL Reign, serving as the first meeting between the two clubs this campaign.
Saturday's match saw forward Julie Doyle record her first brace of the season, earning NWSL Player of the Week honors for her performance.
The Reign come into the weekend riding a four-game unbeaten stretch, but will be without a number of starters due to international duty ahead of the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.
After Friday's match, the Pride will go on a two-week break from match play.
Quote of the Week:
"[OL Reign] have a lot of depth in positions. They are missing their internationals, but they also have some really good players that can fill those spots up, so we have to be mindful of that. We can't take them for granted, but also it's an opportunity to focus on ourselves and again, build up momentum, make it a difficult environment to play in. We'll have our fans behind us as well and if we do all of that, we'll set ourselves up for success."
- Head Coach Seb Hines
