Thanksgiving Ticket Sales Dates Announced

October 23, 2020 - United States Hockey League (USHL) - Waterloo Black Hawks News Release

Waterloo, Iowa - Waterloo Black Hawks single-game ticket purchases will only be possible during limited windows of time throughout the 2020/21 season, due to unpredictable potential fluctuations of Young Arena's seating capacity based on COVID-19.

In those circumstances, the Waterloo Black Hawks announced tickets for games on November 25th (Thanksgiving Eve) and November 26th (Thanksgiving Day) will go on sale Wednesday, November 18th, beginning at 2 p.m.

"We know that there will not be enough tickets for everyone who wants them; that's going to hard, and we would like to thank everyone in advance for their patience and understanding" said Black Hawks President of Business Operations Joe Greene. "As we noted earlier this week, the Thanksgiving Eve game is part of this year's holiday festivities with the idea that fans can make that an alternative if seats for Thursday should be gone when they call in."

The Black Hawks host the Lincoln Stars at 7:05 p.m. on Wednesday, November 25th. The Thanksgiving game the next night versus the Dubuque Fighting Saints is also at 7:05 p.m.

Tickets will be on sale November 18th in socially distant pods for one to six people, while supplies last. Fans should anticipate their selection of seat location to be limited. Group rates will not be available. Once again this season, Thanksgiving is a Black Hawks premium game, so voucher redemptions cannot be made for November 26th.

Each day this week, the Black Hawks released information related to Waterloo's 50th Thanksgiving home game.
