Thanksgiving kicks off with Esks and Alouettes

The Eskimos look to get back in the win column with a win over the east division leading Montreal Alouettes on Monday, October 11 at 2:00 pm. There's plenty on the line for the Green and Gold as they try to nail down a play-off spot and a home date in November. Halftime activities will have a definite Edmonton centennial theme as we take a step back in time to honour our city's original sports dynasties â the surviving members of the 1954, '55 and '56 Grey Cup winning teams.
Pre-game:
· 2004 Team Photo: The first 10,000 people through the gates at Monday's game will receive a 2004 Eskimo team photo courtesy of AADAC.
· Honourary Captain: In recognition of the City's centennial, the Eskimos are pleased to welcome the Chair of the Edmonton 2004 Celebration, Ralph Young as the team's honourary captain.
· National Anthem: A bilingual version of 0 Canada will be sung by Meredith McLeod.
Halftime:
· Eskimo fans will get an opportunity to salute the members of the 1954, '55 and '56 Grey Cup championship teams. Eskimo legends Jackie Parker and Normie Kwong head up the return of these old-school superstars.
· Past Eskimo glory stays front and centre after the parade of former champions as former linebacker great Willie Pless sees his name added to the Eskimo Wall of Honour.
