Moe Elewonibi wins Cal Murphy Heart of a Legend Award

WINNIPEG, MB - Elewonibi is now a two time winner of the Cal Murphy Heart of a Legend Award. This award goes to the Blue Bomber player for Outstanding Sportsmanship and dedication to the CFL and community.

Centre Moe Elewonibi, one of the most giving members of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, today won the Cal Murphy Heart of a Legend Award as the team's nominee for the prestigious Tom Pate Memorial Award. Elewonibi earned the honor for best combining football ability, team camaraderie and extraordinary effort off the field in the community.

Elewonibi is in his fifth season with the Blue Bombers and in his time with the club he has established himself as a leader in the Winnipeg community. The 2002 & 2004 Cal Murphy Award winner works with several local groups to make life better for others. Among those groups are the Winnipeg Boys & Girls Club, Teen Touch and Greenway Elementary School.
