CEDAR PARK, Texas - The Texas Stars prepare for a busy stretch with four games this week starting Tuesday when they head to Manitoba.
-- THIS WEEK'S SCHEDULE --
February 9 and February 10 at Manitoba Moose, 7 p.m. CST:
Tuesday and Wednesday the Stars head north of the border for a two-game set against the Manitoba Moose. Manitoba made their return to the AHL after a five-year absence from the league and Tuesday's game will be the first meeting between the two teams since March 20, 2011, when Texas beat the Moose 5-1.
February 13, 7 p.m. CST and February 14, 5 p.m. CST vs. Lake Erie Monsters:
The Stars and Monsters close out their season series with a weekend set at Cedar Park Center. The teams split their previous two matchups at the end of January in a pair of 3-2 finals in Cleveland. Lake Erie is currently fifth in the AHL's Central Division and has won back-to-back contests entering this week.

February 5 at San Antonio Rampage, 5-2 Loss:
The San Antonio Rampage used a three-goal third period to snap open a tie game and top the Texas Stars by a 5-2 final on Friday at AT&T Center to take game one of a home-and-home series between the in-state rivals. Travis Morin tallied his 400th career AHL point with a shorthanded goal for the Stars. The loss snapped a three-game win streak for Texas in the I-35 series over San Antonio.
February 6 vs. San Antonio Rampage, 4-3 Win:
The Texas Stars jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first period and held off a comeback attempt from the San Antonio Rampage for a 4-3 win on Saturday in front of 5,951 fans at Cedar Park Center. Travis Morin's second period goal held up as the game-winner and the Stars' captain finished with a two-point night. Philippe Desrosiers made 29 saves in the win, and Brett Ritchie also tallied his 50th career AHL goal for Texas.

Travis Morin tallied the 400th and 401st points of his career as a Texas Star on Saturday in a 4-3 win over San Antonio. Texas is 12-5-1-1 in the last 19 games. Radek Faksa was recalled to the NHL's Dallas Stars last week after registering 13 points in nine January games for Texas. The Stars will play five of their next seven games on the road then close out the regular season playing 12 of their last 17 at home.

Saturday's game against the Lake Erie Monsters will include a Stars' Gym Bag giveaway, courtesy of H-E-B.
Saturday's game will also be a Texas Lottery Lucky Row Night and feature Coke Zero Family Four Packs for fans. The first Stars player to score wins free scratch-off tickets for a lucky row of seats at Cedar Park Center, courtesy of the Texas Lottery, and fans will be able to purchase four tickets, four hot dogs and four soft drinks for as low as $16 per person to the game.
Sunday's contest against Lake Erie is Valentine's Day with the Stars and will also be a Coke Zero Family Four Pack game.
The Texas Stars are the primary development affiliate of the NHL's Dallas Stars and currently in their seventh season at Cedar Park Center.
