Texas Stars to Face Oklahoma City Barons in Second Round

CEDAR PARK, TX - The Texas Stars, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the Dallas Stars, announced today the dates for their second round matchup with the Oklahoma City Barons in the 2013 Calder Cup Playoffs.
The top seeded Stars will play the fifth seeded Barons in a best-of-seven Western Conference Semifinal series. Playing a 2-3-2 format, Texas will host South Division rival Oklahoma City for Games 1 and 2, opening the series on Thursday, May 9th at 7:30 p.m. at Cedar Park Center. The teams will then travel to Oklahoma for Games 3, 4 and 5, if necessary. Games 6 & 7, if necessary, will be held at Cedar Park Center. The two division foes faced each other 12 times during the 2012-13 regular season.

Game 4 - Wednesday, May 15th - 7:00 p.m. at Oklahoma City (Cox Convention Center)

Game 6 ** - Monday, May 20th - 7:30 p.m. vs. Oklahoma City (Cedar Park Center)

The Texas Stars will open the Western Conference Semifinals with Game 1 on Thursday, May 9th at 7:30 p.m. at Cedar Park Center against the Oklahoma City Barons.
