
Tatiana Rafter Signs with New York Riveters

New York, NY - Tatiana Rafter will join the New York Riveters for the 2016-17 season, General Manager Chad Wiseman announced Sunday. Rafter agreed to terms with the Riveters on a one-year, $16,500 contract.
"Tatiana is a big power forward with great speed," said Wiseman. "Put with the right players, we believe Tatiana can have a breakout year offensively this season."
Rafter played in 17 regular season games with the Buffalo Beauts last season, scoring 3 points (2g, 1a). She also played in four Isobel Cup Playoff games with Buffalo.
Rafter is the last player to join the New York Riveters for the upcoming 2016-17 season, finalizing their roster.
Restricted free agency began on April 1 and lasted until April 30. Free agency began May 1 and lasts until July 31. The 2016 NWHL Draft was on June 18.
