
Brianna Decker, Meghan Duggan, Kacey Bellamy Join Boston Pride

Boston, MA - Brianna Decker, Meghan Duggan, and Kacey Bellamy will join the Boston Pride for the 2016-17 season, General Manager Hayley Moore announced Sunday. All three players agreed to terms with the Pride on one-year, $20,000 contracts.
Decker played in 16 regular season games with the Pride in 2015-16, where she scored 29 points (14g, 15a). Decker scored an additional 9 points (5g, 4a) in 4 playoff games. She was named Isobel Cup Playoffs MVP, as well as voted NWHL MVP by the NWHL Players' Association.
Bellamy played in 13 games with the Pride last season, scoring 14 points (2g, 12a) in the regular season, and another 4 assists in 4 playoff games.
Duggan was an assistant captain for the Buffalo Beauts last season and scored 16 points (6g, 10a) in 13 games. She added an assist in the playoffs.
All three players are staples on the US National Team, and won a silver medal at the 2014 Olympic Games. With these additions, the Boston Pride has completed their 2016-17 roster.
Restricted free agency began on April 1 and lasted until April 30. Free agency began May 1 and lasts until July 31. The 2016 NWHL Draft was on June 18.
