Buffalo, NY - Emily Pfalzer, Shiann Darkangelo, Megan Bozek, and Jordyn Burns will join the Buffalo Beauts for the 2016-17 season, General Manager Ric Seiling announced Sunday.

Pfalzer and the Beauts agreed to terms on a one-year $22,000 contract. Bozek agreed to terms on a $22,500 contract. Darkangelo agreed to terms with the Beauts on a $21,000 contract. Burns and the Beauts agreed to terms on a $13,500 contract.

Pfalzer captained the Beauts last season and scored 12 points (2g, 10a) in 17 games. She scored an additional 5 points (1g, 4a) in the Beauts' 5 Isobel Cup Playoff games.

Darkangelo comes to the Beauts from the Connecticut Whale, where she scored 13 points (10g, 3a) in 13 games. In the Whale's three playoff games, she added an additional 2 assists.

Bozek, a defenseman, scored 13 points (3g, 10a) in 16 games with the Beauts in the 2015-16 season. She led the team in playoff points with 6 (3g, 3a) in 5 games.

Pfalzer, Bozek, and Darkangelo are all current members of the US National Team. Bozek won a silver medal with the US at the 2014 Olympic Games.

Burns played for the University of Minnesota from 2012-14, where she scored 9 points (4g, 5a) in 62 games. Prior to Minnesota, she scored 10 points (2g, 8a) in 35 games with Syracuse. Burns replaces Shelby Bram on the Beauts' roster, who has chosen to pursue other opportunities.

With these four additions, the Buffalo Beauts have a full roster for the 2016-17 season.

Restricted free agency began on April 1 and lasted until April 30. Free agency began May 1 and lasts until July 31. The 2016 NWHL Draft was on June 18.
