 Tacoma Defiance News Release
SEATTLE, WASH. - The United Soccer League today announced that Thursday's Tacoma Defiance's match vs. Reno 1868 FC has been postponed due to a positive COVID-19 test within the Nevada club. Defiance's schedule has now been adjusted to add a road match at Reno on September 16, while the previously-scheduled October 3 road fixture at Reno has been moved to Cheney Stadium.
Defiance is 1-1-0 since returning to USL action on July 13. Following a 3-3 draw at Sacramento last Monday, Tacoma earned its first win of the season on Saturday evening with a 3-0 home result over Portland Timbers 2. Sitting second in the club's newly-established four-team group following the resumption of play due to the COVID-19 shutdown, Defiance's next scheduled match is Monday, August 3 at Portland Timbers 2 (6:00 p.m. PT / ESPN+).
