Parfait Mandanda Named to USL Championship Week 4 Team of the Week
July 22, 2020 - United Soccer League Championship (USL)
Hartford Athletic News Release
Goalkeeper Parfait Mandanda has been named to the USL Championship's Team of the Week for Week 4. Mandanda was named to TOTW for his performance against New York Red Bulls II on Friday night where he put up his first clean sheet, making 3 saves and also assisting on Hartford's only goal of the night when he booted a ball over 70 yards to Ever Guzmán who outran a defender and the keeper to find the back of the net. Surprisingly, he is not the first keeper in Hartford Athletic history to assist on a goal. Last season, Jon Kempin - who was with the club on loan from Columbus Crew - assisted on an incredible goal off the foot of Jose Angulo against Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC on April 14th.
