FC Tulsa News Release
TULSA - Despite a four-month hiatus in the 2020 USL Championship season, FC Tulsa's relationship with its broadcast partner, Cox Media Group and FOX23 couldn't be stronger. The club and network will broadcast all 14 remaining FC Tulsa matches locally over the air in Tulsa on FOX23's sister station, My41.
"We are grateful to have a broadcast partner in Cox Media Group that has been with us step-by-step, even during such a difficult time," said FC Tulsa president James Cannon. "To know our fans will see every second of FC Tulsa action on local TV in 2020 is exciting for all of us."
Of the 14 local broadcasts, eight will be played at home at ONEOK Field with the other six on the road. Road kickoff times vary, but all eight home matches, beginning with the home opener on August 12, will kick off at 7 p.m. CT.
"It's exciting to have such a strong partnership with FC Tulsa," says Cathy Gunther, Market Vice President, Cox Media Group Tulsa. "These men are making a run at the 2020 USL Championship and we're thrilled to give our viewers a front-row seat to the action. We love sports, and we're excited to have this opportunity to bring it into Green Country living rooms to share with other soccer fans."
FC Tulsa remains unbeaten in 2020 with a pair of road draws. With the unique circumstances of the 2020 season, the club is shooting for a top two spot in Group D which consists of FC Tulsa, OKC Energy FC, San Antonio FC, Austin Bold FC and Rio Grande Valley FC Toros. As it stands, Tulsa sits in 3rd place in the group with the two points.
Tickets to see all eight home matches at ONEOK Field are available for the lowest prices in the league! For $5, $10 or $15 a match, you can lock in your per match price for life at ONEOK Field. This offer is only available for a limited time so don't wait to take advantage to see Tulsa's pro soccer team.
