July 22, 2020 - United Soccer League Championship (USL)
Reno 1868 FC News Release
RENO, Nev. - Reno 1868 FC's match against Tacoma Defiance scheduled for Thursday, July 23 has been postponed.
Proceeding with an abundance of caution, the postponement comes after a covered person in the Reno 1868 organization tested positive for COVID-19, as part of weekly routine testing.
The individual has been immediately isolated at home, demonstrating no symptoms, and in good spirits under the care of team physicians. All league, local and state health and wellness protocols are being followed.
Reno and Tacoma's game on October 3, previously scheduled to be played at Greater Nevada Field, will now be played in Tacoma. The two teams will meet in Reno on September 16.
