TUKWILA, WASH. - After drawing 2-2 with Sporting KC II and losing the ensuing shootout on Thursday at Rock Chalk Park, Tacoma Defiance (4-3-5, 20 points) continues its road stretch against Colorado Rapids 2 (9-0-3, 32 points) tonight at the University of Denver Soccer Stadium (5:30 p.m. PT / Apple TV).
The two sides have not faced off in 2023, but Tacoma won the season series 2-0-0 last season, including a 2-0 road win.
Defiance currently sits in third place in the Pacific Division with 20 points, while Colorado Rapids 2 sits in first place in the Frontier Division with 32 points.
Following the match, Tacoma returns home to take on Austin FC II on Sunday, June 25 at Starfire Stadium (7:00 p.m. PT / MLSNEXTPro.com).
