
New York Red Bulls II Draw Crown Legacy FC on the Road, Lose Shootout

New York Red Bulls II (6-4-4, 24 pts.) hold Crown Legacy FC (9-2-3, 32 pts.) to a 1-1 draw at Mecklenburg County Sportsplex.
The scoring started in the 70th minute, when Midfielder Ibrahim Kasule drew a penalty and converted it himself to give New York the lead.
Crown Legacy FC leveled the match in the tenth minute of stoppage time as Vinivius Mello tapped in a goal to send the match to a shootout.
Crown Legacy FC topped New York in the shootout, winning 6-5 over eight rounds.
The goal from Kasule was his fourth of the year, putting himself into the club-lead so far this season.
Defender O'Vonte Mullings made his 40th career start with New York Red Bulls II in his 41st appearance overall.
Defender Arian Recinos made his first appearance of the season after being subbed on in the 83rd minute.
