Revolution II Head Coach Clint Peay

On his assessment of the match:

Peay: "I mean, I thought the guys played fairly well. I thought we dictated the majority of the game and really limited them to very little and kind of hurt our own selves, I would say, with two or three moments in the game where we weren't as sharp and alert and as good as we needed to be."

On Ítalo making his first start of the season:

Peay: "It's been a tough year for Ítalo with injuries and he's been fighting hard to get back, so I'm just happy to see him back on the field and happy to see him running around, doing what he loves. And yeah, I thought he had a good game, a little bit out of position where we had him, but I thought he did well and contributed to us being able to dictate tempo in the first half of the game."

On Jordan Adebayo-Smith's play off the bench:

Peay: "Yeah, guys were tired, so obviously we needed to look at some changes and Jordan [Adebayo-Smith] is a guy who has logged a lot of minutes, so we felt like it was an opportunity for him to be a reserve tonight and maybe give us a lift off the bench and obviously he provided that with a goal."
