SEATTLE, WASH - Tacoma Defiance today announced that it has signed midfielder Reed Baker-Whiting. The Sounders FC Academy product and Seattle native gives Defiance 16 players signed to its active roster, with the club playing its next match on Monday, August 3 at Portland Timbers 2 (6:00 p.m. PT / ESPN+). Defiance's schedule has now been adjusted to add a road match at Reno on September 16, while the previously-scheduled October 3 road fixture at Reno has been moved to Cheney Stadium.

Following the club's 3-0 win over Portland Timbers 2 on July 18, forward Alec Díaz was named to USL Team of the Week, while Danny Robles was included on the bench. Each scored on Saturday evening for Defiance's first win of 2020.
