ATLANTA - Atlanta United 2 is back in action on Friday night when they travel to take on Charleston Battery at Patriot's Point Soccer Complex in Charleston, South Carolina. The match is scheduled to kick-off at 8:00 p.m. EST and will be streamed live on ESPN+.

ATL UTD 2 is coming off a 2-2 draw last weekend against Memphis 901 FC. Jackson Conway scored for the second consecutive match, while Coleman Gannon tallied his first professional goal. Atlanta fielded its youngest-ever starting XI (19.6 average age) with six current Academy players earning the start.

Charleston Battery are coming off a 2-1 home loss to Birmingham Legion FC. Zeiko Lewis has been the main attacking threat, scoring both of Charleston's goals in the 2020 season. Goalkeeper Phil Breno has one clean sheet this year.

The all-time series sees Charleston holding a slight edge with a 3-2-1 record. The Battery picked up a 1-0 victory on March 8 in the 2020 season opener for both teams. The last time the two sides met in Charleston was on May 25, 2019 and ATL UTD 2 earned a 1-1 draw.
