Tacoma Defiance Enters into Standard USL Loan Agreements with Five Players

TACOMA, WASH. - Tacoma Defiance today announced that it has entered into 2020 Standard USL Loan Agreements for goalkeepers Stefan Cleveland and Trey Muse, forwards Justin Dhillon and Alfonso Ocampo-Chavez as well as defender/midfielder Alex Roldan. These agreements contain a right of recall for MLS, which enables each player to play for a USL side and MLS club throughout the duration of the loan period (through the end of 2020), subject to MLS roster compliance guidelines. All five players are eligible to appear in tomorrow night's season opener at Cheney Stadium (7:00 p.m. PT / ESPN+).

Additionally, the club has signed defenders Leo Burney, Bryson Hankins, Eric Kinzner and Tino Lopez, forward Austin Brummett, midfielders Chris Hegardt, Peter Kingston, Sota Kitahara and Alex Villanueva as well as goalkeepers Conrad Lee and Jamie Lowell to USL Academy Agreements.

Tacoma Defiance opens its 2020 campaign tomorrow night, March 6, vs. Reno 1868 FC at Cheney Stadium in Tacoma (7:00 p.m. PT / ESPN+). Defiance will play its first four contests of the season in the South Sound.
