Loudoun United FC and the National Conference Center Announce Partnership
March 5, 2020 - United Soccer League Championship (USL)
Loudoun United FC News Release
Loudoun United FC has announced that The National Conference Center, one of the largest conference and learning centers in the nation, has extended their partnership as Loudoun United's Official Hospitality Partner through the 2020 season.
Along with being the Official Hospitality Partner of Loudoun United, The National will be displayed proudly on the jersey again this year, as a right sleeve patch and on the back of the jersey. The National will be the "Home of Loudoun United FC," and will host visiting teams, youth teams, and all guests for events taking place at Segra Field in 2020.
"We are excited to be working with The National Conference Center again this year. We experienced many memorable moments with their staff that made our first year a homecoming to remember," Director of Business Administration, Sam Zweifach, said. "Our players are grateful for their hospitality and quality living accommodations."
The National was an integral partner for Loudoun United in their inaugural season, from their first game against Nashville on March 9, 2019, to the opening of Segra Field on August 9, 2019. Their support as Loudoun United integrated into the community was a critical part of the first season's success. The extension of the partnership will allow both The National and Loudoun United to continue to engage the community through soccer.
"The National and our staff have very much enjoyed being a part of Loudoun United's first-year success and we are looking forward to an incredible year two. Our partnership with Loudoun United is one more opportunity to engage with the Loudoun community and The National is the perfect home with our vibrant atmosphere, flexible space and overnight accommodations," says Geoff Lawson, Vice President and General Manager.
