Tacoma, WA - Behind an 8th inning grand slam by Rainiers (28-24) third baseman Chris Shelton, Tacoma won the first game of their series with the Reno Aces (23-30) by a score of 5-1. Right hander Jared Wells picked up the victory and Randy Messenger got the save. Game #2 of the series will be tomorrow at Cheney Stadium, game time is 7:00 pm.
