SALT LAKE CITY (June 2, 2009) - On Wednesday, June 3, the infield of Spring Mobile Ballpark will transform into a diamond mine as the Salt Lake Bees will hold the club's first-ever Diamond Dig contest presented by Morgan Jewelers. The dig will take place immediately following the Bees 7:05 p.m. game against the Sacramento River Cats.

Several cubic zirconium and one three-quarter carat diamond will be buried in the infield dirt. Fifty participants, who received game tickets and qualified for the contest through KUBL 93.3, will have the chance to dig for the diamond. The diamond is provided by Morgan Jewelers.

The 30-22 Salt Lake Bees continue a nine-game homestand tonight against the Sacramento River Cats at 7:05 p.m. at Spring Mobile Ballpark. Bees season tickets start as low as $7 per game. Choose from several ticket packages, priced for every budget, by calling (801) 325-BEES.
