KANSAS CITY, Kan. - The T-Bones begin a short three-game homestand tonight with a "back to school" feel for the promotions during the week. After Monday night's "Kids Eat Free" .
Tuesday: Youth T-Bones Jersey Giveaway sponsored by Savers (first 1,000 kids 12 and Under); $4.25 Beer Special from 5:30-7:30; Special appearance by Royals Hall of Fame outfielder Willie Wilson; Guest conductor for seventh-inning stretch, Bonnie Henrickson, University of Kansas women's basketball coach for the 7:05 p.m. start against Rockland.
Wednesday: Sizzle Autograph Session; Post-Game Catch on the Field by Coventry Health Care for the 7:05 p.m. start against Rockland.
Looking ahead: The T-Bones' last homestand of the season will be next week, Aug. 27-30. The first game, Tuesday against Gary SouthShore, will be a Hat Giveaway, and will feature Miss America, Mallory Hytes Hagan, who will be throwing out a first pitch before signing autographs for an inning.
