
T-Bones Fail to Hold Lead; Drop Series Finale in 10

GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas - The Grand Prairie AirHogs, behind the bat of Angel Flores, fought back and went on to beat the Kansas City T-Bones 5-4 in 10 innings in the series finale on Thursday afternoon at QuickTrip Park.
The T-Bones went into the ninth inning tied 2-2 after the AirHogs got a two-out RBI single from Andres Rodriguez that tied the game in the bottom of the eighth inning. Then, with two outs and two runners in scoring position in the top of the ninth, Justin Bass added his fourth hit of the game with a two-RBI single that scored Norberto Susini and Matt Padgett, giving Kansas City a 4-2 lead.
The AirHogs, however, in the bottom of the ninth thanks to a two-run home run by Flores.
Flores struck again in the bottom of the 10th, with the game tied 4-4, when he launched a deep sacrifice fly against Devon Pearson (0-1) that scored Rodriguez and gave the AirHogs the game and series win.
Kansas City starter Lucas Irvine pitched a one-run game with four strikeouts through seven innings.
