Seattle goaltender Bryan Bridges made 37 saves and Aaron Gagnon added 2 assists as the Seattle Thunderbirds skated pass the Everett Silvertips 5-1 at the Everett Events Center on Wednesday night. With the loss the Silvertips fall to 23-18-7-1 and remain in 2nd place in the U.S. Division.
The lone Tips' goal was scored by Shaun Heshka with assists from Silvertips 1st Round Bantam Pick Zach Hamill and defenseman Ryan Blatchford. Everett outshot Seattle by a margin of 38-18 in the hockey game. The Silvertips went 0 for 6 on the power play and the Thunderbirds went 0 for 2 on the extra man advantage.
The Silvertips return to action on Friday night when they travel to Portland, Oregon to face off with the Portland Winter Hawks at The Rose Garden. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m.
