Seattle Thunderbirds News Release
The Seattle Thunderbirds today announced a partnership with Smith & Tinker to promote the launch of its connected battling monster game Nanovor.
Smith & Tinker's Nanovor, a battling monster game designed for kids ages 7-12, introduces players to a world where nanoscopic monsters, known as Nanovor, live and battle on silicon chips deep inside computers. Combing the strategy of a collectible card game with the appeal of a multiplayer online game, Nanovor enables kids to CONNECT, COLLECT & BATTLE their monsters anywhere and everywhere.
The first 1,000 fans 14-years-old and younger at the game on Saturday, November 21, against the Everett Silvertips will receive a Free Limited Edition Nanofin Figure and Nanovor Booster Pack courtesy of Smith & Tinker.
"We are looking forward to promoting a toy that has been selected one of the 2009 Holiday Hot Dozen Toys by Wizard Entertainment's Fun Fare Magazine, one of the most notable toy lists of the season," said T- Bird Vice President Colin Campbell. "Smith & Tinker is a local company that has produced a cool, high-tech product that's sure to appeal to our younger fans."
With Nanovor, players get the best of both online and offline worlds: exciting digital content at Nanovor.com, combined with a high-tech connected toy called the Nanoscope. At Nanovor.com, kids can get in on the action explore the Nanovor world. As they play, they discover battle strategies, trading, and how to evolve Nanovor into new, more powerful monsters. The Nanoscope takes the battle offline so kids can battle face-to-face anywhere - on the bus, at school and at home. Kids simply download their monsters on to the device and go.
