Syracuse Crunch to Hold Upstate Services Group Charitable Nights

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse Crunch and Upstate Services Group are teaming up to hold Upstate Services Group Charitable Nights at the Crunch to help benefit nonprofit organizations throughout Central New York.

The first Upstate Services Group Charitable Night at the Crunch will be held on Friday, Nov. 11 when the team hosts the Bridgeport Sound Tigers at 7 p.m.

Friday's game will benefit Sophie's Giving Tree. Sophie's Giving Tree was created to provide financial and material support for families at Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital during medical crises. Their hope is this support will allow families to be together during times that prove to be the most difficult and emotional.

Other Upstate Services Group Charitable Nights at the Crunch are Dec. 3 benefitting the Ronald McDonald House, Jan. 7 benefitting Helping Hounds Dog Rescue, Feb. 25 benefitting Francis House and April 1 benefitting Move Along Inc.

To buy a ticket for any of the five Upstate Services Group Charitable nights, fans can call the Crunch at 315-473-4444 using code word "USG" to purchase an $18 ticket. A portion of the proceeds will benefit that night's charity.
