
Amerks Players to Participate in 'Movember'

Rochester, NY- The Rochester Americans announced that the team will be participating in 'Movember' this month by growing mustaches to raise funds and awareness for various men's health issues and cancer initiatives.
Forwards Justin Bailey, Alexander Nylander, Cole Schneider, William Carrier, Matthew Lane, Daniel Muzito-Bagenda and Justin Kea; defensemen Tyson Strachan and Mac Bennett; and goaltender Linus Ullmark are among the players who will be donating their upper lips for the cause, and their 'Mo' progressions will be tracked through photos every week throughout the month on Amerks social media channels.
"The whole emphasis of 'Movember' is bringing in awareness, so for us to grow a mustache for a great cause, it's something that's easy, can help raise funds, and it's fun," said Strachan after his Movember shave-down.
As part of the campaign, the Amerks will reward fans that donate to the cause by offering prizes for their generous contributions to the team's 'Movember' page. For a donation of $25, fans will receive an autographed puck while fans who donate $50 will win get an autographed stick. Fans that make a $100 donation will earn a meet and greet with a player of their choice following an upcoming Amerks home game.
