ALBANY DEVILS SIGN ALEX WALL

ECHL Defenseman Inks PTO

ALBANY, NY - The Albany Devils have signed defenseman Alex Wall to a professional tryout agreement. The announcement was made by General Manager Tom Fitzgerald.

Wall, who turned 26 on Nov. 1, began the season with Adirondack (ECHL) and has six points (1g-5a) in six contests. He made his ECHL debut at the end of last season with the Thunder, appearing in two games.

Prior to joining Adirondack, the St. John's, Newfoundland native played in Canada's Atlantic University Sports conference for five seasons with the University of Prince Edward Island and the University of New Brunswick. Wall also played four years in the QMJHL with St. John's, Montreal, Moncton and Quebec. He tallied 114 points (22g-92a) in 267 games. During the 2009-10 season, he helped Moncton to the QMJHL Championship and in 2010-11 he served as an alternate captain for Quebec.

The 5'11" 190-lb., left-shooting defenseman was born November 1, 1990.
