Syracuse Crunch Recall Ryan Martindale from Florida Everblades

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse Crunch have recalled Ryan Martindale from the Florida Everblades of the ECHL, Crunch general manager Julien BriseBois announced today.

Martindale, 24, has skated in 25 games with the Everblades this season, posting seven goals, 12 assists and 10 penalty minutes. He has also compiled three assists and two penalty minutes in 12 contests with the Crunch this year.

During the 2014-15 season, the 6-foot-3, 210-pound center appeared in 19 games with the Crunch, tallying eight goals, six assists to go along with four penalty minutes and a plus-5 rating after joining the team from the San Antonio Rampage. With the Rampage, Martindale put up 13 points (8g, 5a) in 45 contests.

The Oshawa, Ontario native has appeared in 192 AHL games with the Crunch, Rampage and Oklahoma City Barons, totaling 30 goals and 70 points. He made his AHL debut Dec. 10, 2011, with Oklahoma City. Martindale has also played 64 career games in the ECHL earning 36 points (15g, 21a) with the Everblades and the Stockton Thunder.

Martindale was selected in the third round, 61st overall, by the Edmonton Oilers at the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
