
Jersey Auction Raises Nearly $27,000 for American Heart Association

DES MOINES, IA - The Iowa Wild announced on Thursday the American Hockey League (AHL) club's jersey auction on Mar. 13 raised nearly $27,000, benefitting the American Heart Association of Central Iowa.
The Wild held its third charitable jersey auction of the season on Sunday, Mar. 13. The live jersey auction raised nearly $27,000, with a portion benefitting the American Heart Association of Central Iowa. Right wing Marc Hagel was the highest bid, bringing in $2,550 for his season-long, game-worn red jersey. In November, the team raised just over $25,000 for ALS of Iowa with a Veterans jersey auction. In February, Iowa partnered with Susan G. Komen of Iowa to raise $36,000 with a jersey auction for Pink in the Rink. In all, the Iowa Wild has raised $88,000 through charitable live jersey auctions this season.
Iowa heads to the west coast on Friday, Mar. 18 for a visit to the Stockton Heat. The Wild also makes a stop in San Jose on Saturday, Mar. 19 before returning to Wells Fargo Arena on Friday, Mar. 25 to host the Chicago Wolves at 7 p.m. Friday's game is a $2 Beer Night presented by 100.3 The Bus. The first 1,000 fans to the game receive a T-shirt courtesy of IWork and Play. The "Bring Your Buds Bundle" is also available, featuring one ticket, one 16 oz. Bud or Bud Light at the game, one hot dog, one popcorn, $1 off a Bud or Bud Light 25 oz. can during the game, and one free beer at Carl's Place following the game.
The Wild hosts Chicago for a rematch on Saturday, Mar. 19 at 12:30 p.m. Saturday's game features the Wild's "Go Green Game", sponsored by NASH FM and NASH ICON. The first 1,000 fans to the game receive an Iowa Wild water bottle courtesy of Water Works Park. The "Legends Brewdog Pack" is also available on Saturday, including one of each: ticket, beer, hotdog, and a free Bud or Bud Light at Legends American Grill. The Stanley Cup is expected to make a visit to Wells Fargo Arena for Saturday's game. It will be displayed on the concourse throughout the game. The Iowa Wild is also offering a specialty package that includes access to a breakfast buffet, one drink ticket, and a ticket the game. The package is extremely limited and starts at $50 ($35 for Iowa Wild VIP Members) and begins at 10:30 a.m. A professional photographer will be in attendance for those who would like a professional portrait.
Fans may purchase single-game tickets multiple ways, either through the team's website - www.Iowawild.com , the Wells Fargo Arena box office or participating Hy-Vee food stores. Tickets are available online at www.Iowawild.com under the single game tickets tab. The Wells Fargo Arena box office is open Monday - Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and closed on Sunday. For Saturday game days, the box office will open at 10 a.m. For Sunday game days the box office will open at 12 p.m. Fans may also purchase tickets by calling 1-844-55-HYVEE or by visiting participating Hy-Vee food stores locations in the greater Des Moines area. The Iowa Wild 2015-16 season is presented by Mercy Medical Center, it runs from October through April. Fans may purchase seats to see any of the team's 38 regular season home games at Wells Fargo Arena.
