SWX to Broadcast 8 Home Games

The Spokane Chiefs will broadcast eight regular season games on SWX, Sports and Weather Right Now, beginning with the home opener on Saturday, October 2nd when the Tri-City Americans visit the Arena.

The broadcasts are the second of a five year agreement between the Chiefs and SWX.

SWX Sports Director Sam Adams will call the play-by-play on opening night while former Chiefs captain Kevin Sawyer will provide color commentary.

SWX, Sports and Weather Right Now, your source for local and regional sports and weather can be seen free over-the-air in the Spokane viewing area on digital channel 6.2 or on Comcast Cable 115. SWX is also seen on Northland Cable (channel 115) in Moses Lake, Ephrata, and Sandpoint.

The Spokane Chiefs broadcast games will continue to be available via Comcast On Demand to all digital cable customers at no charge. To view the games, click on "Get Local" in the On Demand menu. In North Idaho, SWX is available on Time Warner 306 and Cable One 466.
