Tigers Move Young Forward to Regina

Medicine Hat Tigers News Release
Medicine Hat, AB - Medicine Hat Tigers announced this afternoon 17-year-old forward Trent Oullette has been traded to the Regina Pats.
The Tigers will receive a 7th round pick in the 2012 WHL Bantam Draft for moving the Drumheller, AB native to the Pats.
"Trent is coming off a real good training camp and exhibition season," said Tigers' general manager Brad McEwen. "He certainly showed he did his work in the off season and was well prepared coming into this year."
"When we looked at finalizing our roster and our 1993 forwards, we felt it would be in Trent's best interest if we could keep him in the league. It made real good sense for Regina and us to make this deal and give him this opportunity with the Pats," stated McEwen.
The Tigers are preparing for their home opener tomorrow night when the Lethbridge Hurricanes come calling for a 7:30 p.m. start.
A pre-game tailgate party in support of the United Way will take place in The Arena parking lot starting at 5:00 p.m.
Tomorrow night's game can be heard on CHAT 94.5 fm or viewed via WHL LIVE at http://whl.neulion.com/whl/
