Switchbacks Take on S2 Tomorrow Night

Colorado Springs, Colo. (Friday, July 17, 2015) - The Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC are back at home this weekend and looking to earn another three points with a win.

Switchbacks FC will take on fellow USL Western Conference club Seattle Sounders FC 2, for the first time this season.

"This is a big game for the Switchbacks," said Switchbacks FC Head Coach Steve Trittschuh. "With a win we can go back on top of the conference and keep momentum with our success at home. We know Seattle is a quality team and we will have to be on top of our game to get a result."

Switchbacks FC played Wednesday night in Vancouver where they earned one point against Whitecaps FC 2 in the team's first-ever draw.

Switchbacks FC (10-6-1, 31 points) stand just one point behind Seattle Sounders FC 2 (10-6-2, 32 points) in the USL's Western Conference.

The match is Saturday, July 18th at Sand Creek Stadium. It starts at 7 p.m. Switchbacks will also be saluting our local military.
