The Roughnecks will be looking for their first win against the Energy. Tulsa drew 1-1 with OKC in its first-ever game with the Energy on March 28 at ONEOK Field. The second match also took place in Tulsa on May 27 in the third round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup with the Energy taking a 1-0 victory. In the last meeting, the Energy blanked the Roughnecks 2-0 at Taft Stadium on June 13.

The Roughnecks enter the match with a total of 21 points (6-8-3) this season and in 9th place in the Western Conference standings. The Energy come in with 26 points (7-5-5), and in fifth place in the West.

The match is presented by Tulsa's Channel 8, Pepsi and Cox Radio. The first 1,500 fans to enter through the Oil Derrick and Arvest Entrances will receive a large 3' x 5' Roughnecks FC flag.

The game will be broadcast live on Tulsa's Sports Radio AM 1300 with Jeremie Poplin, David Saunders and Andy Lorei calling the action. The broadcast can be heard online at 1300TheBuzz.com. It will also be shown live on the Energy YouTube channel.

THE TWO TEAMS - The Roughnecks enter the meeting with a two-match winning streak after defeating Orange County and Colorado Springs last week at ONEOK Field.

The Energy are winless in their last five matches, losing three and drawing two. Their last victory came in the June 13 win over Tulsa.

In his first game in goal, Feener made 13 saves and allowed only one goal in Tulsa's victory over Orange County. Two night later, he surrendered only a penalty kick goal in a 3-1 win over Colorado Springs.

BALLEW RECOGNIZED AGAIN - Defender Brady Ballew joined Feener on the USL Team of the Week that was announced on July 14. It is the second time this season that Ballew has earned a spot on the team.
