Switchbacks' President Honored by Mayor

Colorado Springs, Colo. (Thursday, October 29, 2015) - The Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC's President, Nick Ragain, was honored Wednesday night by Colorado Springs Mayor John Suthers.

Ragain was given the Mayor's Young Leaders Award for Economic Impact.

The award highlights the outstanding achievements of young professional groups in the Pikes Peak Region. Ragain's leadership of the Switchbacks has led to a positive impact on not only the club, but on other businesses in the area, which are seeing an increase in revenue.

Ragain says he's honored and humbled to be recognized amongst the outstanding young leaders in Colorado Springs.

"I'm very honored to receive the award," said Nick Ragain, President of the Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC. "Mayor Suthers has a great vision for what the City of Colorado Springs can become. The team of young leaders we employ on the field and in the office could all make a case for this award and I'm proud to represent them!"
