Quad Cities River Bandits News Release
The Swing of the Quad Cities will host a Military Appreciation Night at John O'Donnell Stadium on Saturday, July 21. The Swing are offering two-for-one general admission or box seat tickets to all active military personnel and veterans for this special night at the ballpark
The event will be hosted by Congressman Phil Hare of the 17th District of Illinois and will honor former Congressman Lane Evans.
Evans is a former Marine and former representative of the 17th Congressional District for more than 20 years. He did not run for re-election in 2007 due to his ongoing battle with Parkinson's disease.
