Quad Cities River Bandits News Release
The Swing of the Quad Cities and Beloit Snappers were rained out at Pohlman Field on Tuesday evening, setting up a doubleheader scheduled to kickoff at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
This is already the seventh rainout of the season for the Swing, who will be playing their fourth twin bill of the season Wednesday. The Swing are 2-4 in double dips this season, having split a pair of doubleheaders with Lansing on May 1 and May 2 before dropping two games at the hands of the Burlington Bees on May 13.
The Swing and Snappers will play two seven-inning games Wednesday night, with the first pitch of the first game set for 5:00 p.m. Radio coverage will come your way at 4:45 p.m. with the pre-game show on Progressive Talk AM-1270.
UP NEXT: The Swing of the Quad Cities will continue their series against the Beloit Snappers with their fourth doubleheader of the season on Tuesday at Pohlman Field. First pitch is scheduled for 5:00 p.m., with coverage on Progressive Talk AM-1270 beginning at 4:45 p.m.
NEXT HOMESTAND: The Swing will return to John O'Donnell Stadium for a four-game series with Cedar Rapids from June 6-9.
