Walla Walla Sweets News Release
WALLA WALLA, Wa. - The Walla Walla Sweets saw the largest harvest in their four-year history this past week, as nine former, current and future Sweets players were selected in the 2013 Major League Baseball Amateur Draft.
"From our inception, we have worked to create an environment where young men who have aspirations of becoming professional baseball players can develop that talent here," said Sweets vice-president and general manager Zachary Fraser. "The draft results this year are a credit to our coaching staff who works with the players and develops the relationships with college coaches who trust us with their players development."
