Medford Rogues News Release
SILVERDALE, WA - The Medford Rogues lost their first WCL road game tonight, falling 7-0 to the Kitsap BlueJackets in Silverdale, WA. At the same time, three Rogues have been selected through 40 rounds of the Major League draft.
In Kitsap, the BlueJackets struck early as Andy Lack singled then moved around the bases on an error and a fielder's choice to score the first run of the game in the bottom of the first. Two Medford errors in the second led to two more runs for Kitsap to end the second with a 3-0 BlueJackets lead.
Four runs in the eighth inning broke it open for the BlueJackets and the Rogues were unable to come back.
Rogues RHP Jamie Flynn (Ashland High, Western Nevada) made his Rogues debut and struck out two BlueJackets to end the eighth inning.
