Sweets Announce Coaching Staff for 2020 Season

March 6, 2020 - WALLA WALLA, Wash. - The Sweets are set to welcome a new manager and pitching coach for the 2020 season, along with the return of an assistant coach. Jeff Cirillo, a two-time MLB All-Star who hit .296 across 14 seasons, will take over as manager. The former major leaguer played over 1,600 games in his career and was an All-Star for Milwaukee in 1997 and Colorado in 2000. Dahle Brothers Will Toe the Rubber Again for Sweets

February 20, 2020 - WALLA WALLA, Wash. - The Sweets announced the signing of two-right handed pitchers Thursday, as brothers Jake and Nathan Dahle will return to the team in 2020. With these additions, the Sweets roster now sits at nine players, six of whom are pitchers. Jake, a Tremonton, Utah, native and University of Utah sophomore, pitched in four games for the Sweets last season and posted a 4.00 ERA with seven strikeouts. Sweets Bolster Rotation, Sign Three Right-Handed Pitchers

February 14, 2020 - WALLA WALLA, Wash. - The Sweets announced the signing of three players Friday, as the team roster now sits at seven players. Mason Kokodynski, Wyatt Boone and Nick Irwin, all of whom were members of the 2019 squad, will dawn the Sweets uniform once again this season. All three players are right-handed pitchers and make up the third group of players brought in by first-year manager Jeff Cirillo.
