TOP TEAM: Scranton/Wilkes-Barre knocked the Norfolk Tides out of first place in the International League with five straight wins. The RailRiders a half of a game ahead of two other teams including Omaha and Iowa. The team is five games above .500 for the first time this season.

SIX STRAIGHT- SWB has now won six games in a row, tracking back to their final game at PNC Field versus Syracuse. The last time they won this many straight was between July 26-July 31 at Rochester in 2022 when they swept a six game series.

SAVED IT- The RailRiders have now gone have six straight games with consecutive saves in the after going 0-5 in that category to start the season. This number is tied for first in Minor League Baseball while the Yankees lead wiht nine total. Last night Jake Cousins recorded his second on the season in just his second appearance in three days. Each save has been recorded by a different bullpen arm.

ANY GIVIN DAY- Matt Givin joined the RailRiders bullpen yesterday from Hudson Valley. He tossed three innings of clean work allowing just two hits and two walks. He struck out three on 53 pitches. It was his season debut and his Triple-A debut. Givin was signed by the Yankees as a minor league free agent on August 26, 2023.

FREE RIDE- Scranton/Wilkes-Barre leads all of Triple-A baseball with 78 walks with Carlos Narvaez having thirteen on the season. Brandon Lockridge follows with a dozen. Thirteen total RailRiders have recorded at least one. Only the New York Yankees have more with 80 total. Aaron Judge has 15 and Juan Soto has 14 to lead the team.

STREAK SNAPPED: Both Everson Pereira and Caleb Durbin snapped their twelve game on-base streaks last night. Durbin had 17 hits and eleven walks. He had a team-high 15 runs batted in. Durbin's on-base percentage was .509 in the first dozen games. Pereira had eleven hits, including four homers. His OBP was .370 during the streak.

AFFILIATE ATTACK- On April 13th the Yankees and their affiliates combined to win seven total games on the day. New York and Somerset both swept their double headers. Hudson Valley and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre both had 3-0 victories. And the Tampa Tarpons walked off their contest in the bottom of the tenth inning.

PITCHING PRESENCE- The RailRiders starters and relievers have combined for a 3.42 earned run average in the first 13 games of the season. It is the #3 pitching staff in Triple-A baseball.

ATOP THE YANKS FARM -The RailRiders will showcase top outfielding prospect Everson Pereira (#6 per MLB Pipeline) alongside starting pitchers Will Warren (#8), Clayton Beeter (#14), and Yoendrys Gómez (#18).
