
Swain Activated off Temporary Inactive List, Mullenbach Released

Cedar Rapids Kernels News Release
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - In conjunction with the Minnesota Twins, the Cedar Rapids Kernels announce the following roster moves effective today. RHP Matthew Swain has been activated off the Temporary inactive list and is active immediately. As a corresponding move, RHP Matt Mullenbach has been released. RHP Owen Griffith has been transferred from the 7-day IL to the 60-day IL. C Kyle Schmidt has been transferred to Cedar Rapids from double-A Wichita and has been placed on the development list. Schmidt will wear #19. These moves were announced by Minnesota Twins Manager, Minor League Operations Jason Davila.
The 2023 Cedar Rapids roster currently sits at 30 active players along with four on the injured list and one on the Development List.
The Kernels open a twelve-game homestand tonight against Peoria at 6:35.
