Sussex Signs RF Khyle Dimino

Augusta, N.J. - July 8, 2010 - The Sussex Skyhawks are proud to announce the signing of right fielder Khyle Dimino. Dimino graduated from SUNY Cortland this spring and will make his professional debut with the Skyhawks tonight, batting ninth against the Pittsfield Colonials.
As a senior at SUNY Cortland, the 6-foot-1, 185-pound Dimino batted .383 in 45 games played with five homeruns and 38 RBI. The speedy Lima, N.Y. native led the Red Dragons with 37 stolen bases and finished the season with a .439 on-base percentage and a .551 slugging percentage.
Dimino replaces former Sussex right fielder Kade Keowen on the 22-man roster. Keowen was released today after batting .217 with two homeruns, 11 RBI, and a team-high 38 strikeouts in 35 games played for the Skyhawks this year.
