August 17, 2010 - Canadian American League (Can-Am)
Sussex Skyhawks News Release
Augusta, N.J. - Wednesday night's game at 6:35 p.m. versus the Worcester Tornadoes is Guinness World Record Night sponsored by Lakeland Bank in addition to Fireworks and Ladies Night!
Tonight after the game, the Skyhawks will attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the most people tossing coins simultaneously, but WE NEED YOUR HELP! Each fan in attendance will receive a free nickel to use during the post-game coin toss courtesy of Lakeland Bank. The current record of 1,117 people was set by The British School of Bahrain in Hamala, Bahrain on March 3, 2010.
Come out to the ballpark and help the Skyhawks break this world record! The game begins at 6:35 p.m. and will be followed by the coin toss and then a great fireworks display! Special vendors will also be on-site during the game for Ladies Night, including Party for Gold! Bring your unwanted gold to the stadium and trade it in for cash!
Tickets for Guinness World Record Night are still available by phone at the box office (973-300-1000 x21), but they are going fast. Don't miss out on this one-of-a-kind event at Skylands Park!
