Worcester 9, Brockton 1

Worcester used five home runs and a balanced offensive attack to throttle Brockton 9-1. CF Danny Santiesteban had a big game, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, including his third home run of the season. On the mound, starter John Kelly picked up the win by pitching six scoreless innings and allowing just three hits while striking out seven. 3B Phillip Cuadrado accounted for Borckton's only run when he connected on a ninth inning home run off of Worcester reliever Baron Short.

Sussex 5, Pittsfield 2

Sussex starter Jeff Icenogle lasted 7.1 innings and allowed just two runs, as he led the Skyhawks to a 5-2 win over Pittsfield. Icenogle scattered five hits and struck out six on his way to his third win, and closer Duaner Sanchez earned his 12th save by pitching a scoreless ninth. At the plate, leadoff hitter LF Kraig Binnick tallied three hits and scored two runs for the Skyhawks and C Ryan Boelsen knocked in two. Pittsfield's only hits came from three of its hitters, RF Daniel Carte, C Scott Knazek, and 3B Jason Taylor.

Quebec 4, New Jersey 2

Quebec starter Karl Gelinas earned his second win by surrendering just two runs over seven innings, and the Quebec offense managed just enough to beat New Jersey 4-2. Gelinas struck out five and gave up five hits, before turning it over to reliever Dan Sausville, who pitched the final two innings to earn his first save. Offensively, 3B Robert Wagner hit a three-run homer in the sixth to push Quebec into the lead for good. In the loss, 1B Jabe Bergeron hit two solo home runs to account for New Jersey's only offense.
