Edmonton Oil Kings News Release

Edmonton, AB - Word came down Saturday from the Western Hockey League that Edmonton Oil Kings rookie import Tomas Vincour has been suspended for 1 game. The decision comes down after a check from behind by Vincour on Red Deer defenceman Mike Scarborough in a game Friday night at Rexall Place. Vincour received a 5 minute major penalty and a game misconduct at the time.

Vincour will miss Sunday's game against the Calgary Hitmen. This is the second suspension handed down to an Edmonton Oil King this season. Defenceman Drew Nichol was suspended after the December 1st game vs Saskatoon.
