HAGERSTOWN, MARY. - In his first game off the disabled list, Matt Skole went 3-for-5 for Hagerstown including a 10th inning walk-off single for a 5-4 Suns win over the BlueClaws Monday night.

The BlueClaws scored the go-ahead run in the top of the 7th inning to take a 4-3 lead, but Hagerstown scored a run in the bottom of the inning off Zach Cooper to tie it up. Cooper allowed one run in three innings of relief. That was the first earned run Cooper allowed in four appearances (8.0 innings) since being added to the BlueClaws roster two weeks ago.

The BlueClaws are now a game out of first place- trailing the Suns and the Hickory Crawdads who beat Delmarva 8-1.

The BlueClaws and Suns will play Game 2 of a four-game series Tuesday morning at Municipal Stadium. Lefty Ethan Stewart (4-8, 3.43) will start for the BlueClaws after skipping his most recent turn in the rotation with blisters on his pitching hand, and he will go up against Hagerstown's Christian Meza (5-1, 2.86).

First pitch for Tuesday's morning game is scheduled for 10:35 a.m. Listen to all the action on WOBM 1160-AM and WOBM 1310-AM beginning at 10:20 a.m. with the BlueClaws Beat pre-game show.
