HAGERSTOWN, Md - The Hagerstown Suns knotched their third straight victory on Monday night with a 4-3 win over the Delmarva Shorebirds at Municipal Stadium. The Suns fell behind in the first inning, but continued to battle and picked up a run in the bottom of the eighth on a wild pitch to take the lead for good.
Chris Marrero hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the sixth inning and went 2-for-3 on the night. Suns starter Corey Van Allen went six innings allowing two runs on seven hits and picked up a no-decision. Josh Wilkie went the final three innings to record his second win of the year. With the win, the Suns improved to 15-22 on the season as Delmarva dropped to 14-22.
